About us 

King’s Foundations, which operates within the Centre for International Education and Languages (CIEL), offers year-round and summer programmes to international students who aim to progress onto King’s College London Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes.   

About the role 

The Programme Manager (Quality Assurance) will work alongside the CIEL Quality Assurance Manager and King’s Foundations academic and professional service teams to support all quality assurance and compliance processes that support the portfolio of King’s Foundations programmes.  

The role is primarily based at Bush House on the King’s Strand Campus though you may be required to travel to other campuses on occasion. King’s College London operate a hybrid working programme with 40%-60% of time spent on campus. Changes to this pattern may occur and are determined by required output and departmental need. 

This is a full time (35 hours per week), and you will be offered a fixed term contract until August 2026

About you

​​To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates to have the following skills and experience:

**Essential criteria **

  1. ​Excellent written and oral communication skills.  The ability to draft documents and correspondence for a broad range of audiences with keen attention to detail, and to build relationships with a wide variety of people in a professional and assured manner.
  2. ​Excellent data analysis and presentation skills, with the ability to assimilate, analyse and present large and complex sets of information quickly and accurately.
  3. ​Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft packages and databases, and confidence in learning new systems.
  4. ​Experience of interpreting complex regulations and processes and explaining these to a varied audience in a straightforward and engaging manner.
  5. ​Experience of setting up, managing and refining processes, preferably within an academic environment. Ability to anticipate problems and apply innovative approaches to resolve issues.
  6. ​Proactive with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Able to multi-task, balancing competing priorities under pressure of deadlines and workload.
  7. ​Knowledge and experience of quality assurance within the education context, ideally with experience of formal committee servicing, including drafting agendas and minutes.
  8. ​A strong commitment to equality and diversity and inclusion in the workplace.

  1. ​Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
  2. ​Experience of managing projects.
  3. ​Experience in the use of student records systems (e.g. SITS) and website content management systems.
