About the role
The Student Experience Team which forms part of Faculty Education Services are seeking an enthusiastic, proactive and highly organised individual who can support our Faculty Student Hub provision in the afternoons.
This is a role that has set hours Mon-Fri on campus at Guy’s 12.45-4.15pm independently running our faculty student reception (17.5 hours per week).
Working effectively with a diversity of stakeholders, service oriented in a highly operational environment, able to manage competing priorities with flexibility and excellent communication skills.
Successful candidates will need experience in enquiry management/customer services for this highly administrative role.
This is a part time post (17.5 hours per week), and you will be offered an indefinite contract.
About You
To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates to have the following skills and experience:
Essential criteria
- Educated to degree level or equivalent, or has relevant work experience within the Higher Education sector
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills. Ability to communicate, and present, effectively in an assured manner with a range of stakeholders, including academic staff
- Good working knowledge of all communication disciplines, including social media and communications tools such as Microsoft software and content management systems, and their use as part of an integrated communications strategy
- Excellent time management and organisational skills, able to manage own workload and prioritise tasks in a busy work environment, managing multiple workstreams independently
- Commitment to 5 x 3.5 hour shifts per week at the specified times on campus

- Understanding of King’s and the Faculty structure
