About the role:

The Cleaning and Security Services Trainer’s (CSS Trainer)  main role is to coordinate, support and deliver training programmes within all CSS teams. They will work in partnership with the Training Manager, Cleaning and Security Management and other relevant professionals as needed.

Utilising your operational knowledge in Security/Facilities Management and through the enthusiastic and professional delivery of training courses, you will be responsible for ensuring that all staff within CSS, have the essential skills to undertake their operational roles with confidence and are equipped to deliver their roles to the highest standard.

Through efficient and timely administration, you will ensure that all courses are scheduled efficiently to meet business needs and that attendees are booked and reminded to attend.  You will be able to produce data and metrics to support the training that has been delivered to all CSS staff; ensuring effective training matrixes are maintained and supporting analysis of training data to review and further develop the training offer.  You will manage renewals efficiently to ensure all mandatory training remains in date.

This is a full time and you will be offered an indefinite contract

To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates to have the following skills and experience:

Essential criteria

1.      Strong experience of delivering in house training

2. Relevant training qualifications

3.      Good knowledge of Security /Facilities Management and operational delivery

4.      Knowledge of training planning / IT literate, standard Microsoft packages to a high standard

5.      Strong understanding of high customer service standards

6.      Exceptional organisational skills

7.      Excellent communication skills both spoken and written

Desirable criteria

1.      SIA Licence

2.      Adaptable and flexible with willingness to work flexibly to meet business needs and be flexible in working location across KCL estate
