Alumni launches podcast series examining controversial figures
A King’s alumni has launched a podcast series which examines the lives and legacies of some of the world’s most controversial political figures.
Tom Leeman, who studied for an MA in international political economy in the School of Politics and Economics, is creator and host of the Hated and the Dead podcast, a weekly show in which he discusses controversial world figures with special guests.
Some of those to have featured so far have included Charles Taylor, Slobodan Milosevic, and Rodrigo Duterte, as well as the likes of Tony Benn, John F Kennedy and Imran Khan.
For his latest episode, Tom drew on the insights he gained studying modules with the King’s Russia Institute as he examines the life and times of Leonid Brezhnev, leader of the Soviet Union from 1964-1982.
