Jo Moriarty spoke to students undertaking the qualitative module on the MSc Mental Health Studies programme at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience (IOPPN). Jo spoke about applying critical appraisal skills in evaluating qualitative research. Senior Research Fellow Kritika Samsi has worked with Vanessa Lawrence on developing this popular module which attracts students from a range of backgrounds in research and practice.
