King’s School of Cardiovascular & Medical Sciences has been designated BHF Centre of Excellence since 2008 and has over 90 researchers actively working on promoting cutting edge research and training in cardiovascular research.

The event opened with a warm welcome from BHF Principal Investigator Professor Mike Marber and included presentations from King’s BHF Principal Investigators Allison Brewer, Mike Marber, Mike Shattock and Matthew Stroud, as well as BHF Research Advisors Lucie Duluc, Ross King and Abigail Woodfin.

The presentations were followed by a networking lunch and the opportunity to meet individually with representatives from BHF who addressed particular issues and questions.

This event took place at the James Clerk Maxwell Building, Waterloo Campus and was well attended by members of staff across the faculty.

All the presenters did an excellent job and the feedback from members of our School was that every presenter was really informative and educational.
