Young carers have prepared a short animation summarising their experiences
23 November 2023 is Carers Rights Day. A recent study conducted by researchers from the Care Policy and Evaluation Centre at the London School of Economics and Political Science and the NIHR Policy Research Unit in Health and Social Care Workforce at King’s College London, Sheffield Young Carers and an advisory group of young carers aimed at understanding more about what support is helpful, valued, and needed, as well as identifying the barriers facing young carers, and how these can be overcome. As part of Carers Rights Day, a group of young carers have prepared a short animation summarising their experiences.
