The QS rankings compare universities world wide across six areas - academic reputation, employer reputation, staff/student ratio, citations per faculty, international faculty ratio and international student ratio.

Commenting on the latest ranking, Professor Paula Booth, Head of the Department of Chemistry , said:

“We are pleased that we continue to climb the world rankings. Our top 10 position in the UK shows the success of our vision for a new style of chemistry in a small and collegiate department and bodes well for our future growth.”
