Research from the Centre for Telecommunications Research (CTR)  has been featured in the New Scientist. The team is working on a new project to test technologies that will make internet connections faster and more secure.

With researchers from the Universities of Bristol, Edinburgh and Lancaster, the research group believe an improved internet could make a wide variety of new applications possible, from robotic surgery conducted from hundreds of miles away to musical duets performed by singers on different continents.
