Dr Robyn Klingler-Vidra was invited to attend Pitch@Palace Commonwealth - an event which helps to connect entrepreneurs and early-stage businesses with potential supporters, including CEOs, influencers, mentors and business partners.

Initiated and run by Prince Andrew, the Duke of York, and hosted at St James' Palace, Pitch@Palace enables small businesses to pitch directly to an influential audience from the worlds of entrepreneurship, technology, media and investment.

Dr Klingler-Vidra said: 'Pitch@Palace Commonwealth was an inspiring evening, with presentations of more than 40 start-ups from across the commonwealth pitching their business. Unlike typical start-up pitch events, the Palace beefeaters played their bugle when entrepreneurs reached their 3 minute or 30 second time limit, which helped to "gamify" and energise the already exciting evening. After the entrepreneurs' presentations, and the audience voting on the top startups, I was delighted to speak with the Duke and Duchess of York, when I introduced one of my current research projects on measuring the social impact of entrepreneurship.'
