Dr Marat Shterin wins KCLSU President's Wreath
Dr Marat Shterin, Head of the Department of Theology & Religious Studies at King's College London, has been won the KCLSU President's Wreath in recognition of his outstanding service to KCLSU and the King's community.
The award was presented at the KCLSU Awards ceremony on Tuesday 29 May, 2018.
Dr Shterin, a Reader in Sociology of Religion and Head of the Department of Theology & Religious Studies at King's, expressed his pleasure at receiving the award, and gave credit to the “amazing support” he has received from academic and Professional Services colleagues and students themselves.
In a statement the 2017/18 KCLSU student officers said: “KCLSU Awards, Crowns and Colours highlight the amazing community we have here at KCLSU and King’s. These awards are our chance to celebrate the people who’ve made huge contributions to student life.”
