Nicole will work across faculties and directorates to strengthen the university’s commitment to serving the needs of society and creating meaningful impact, ensuring this mission is embedded in King’s education, research, and business operations.

A member of the King’s community since 2019, Nicole brings extensive experience in strategic development and programme delivery. Most recently, she was the professional services lead for King’s Sanctuary Programme, which creates opportunities for people whose lives have been disrupted by forced displacement.

Through working in partnership with colleagues across the university, Nicole oversaw the expansion of the programme, including the growth of our Sanctuary Scholarships and Fellowships, and the development of the University Sponsorship Model. This model provides displaced students and academics with a safe route to the UK and the support needed to rebuild their lives.

In her new role, Nicole will lead a portfolio of programmes within the International, Engagement & Service Directorate that brings together staff, students and community partners to strengthen King’s response to urgent and enduring global challenges. These initiatives include King’s Sanctuary Programme, King’s Volunteering, and One King’s Impact.

I have been very fortunate to work on a number of social value led programmes at King’s that embody the University’s mission to create positive change for people, planet and society. I am delighted to have the opportunity to continue working with our inspiring community of changemakers to take forward this commitment in my new role.
