Dr Mahmoodi, a lecturer in the Department of Informatics and member of the Centre for Telecommunications research group discussed some of the developments being made by researchers at King’s College London. Researchers are working closely with the healthcare sector to develop ultra-low latency wireless technology that could meet their future needs. This technology would be particularly useful in areas such as remote surgery where near-instant tactile feedback is required for successful applications.
