King's College London is recruiting for one full-time MPhil/PhD studentship, with a start date of October 2019. The studentship is funded by the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) School for Social Care Research (SSCR) and supported by the NIHR Academy. Closing date: 28 June 2019.

The doctoral student will be required to conduct research relevant to Adult Social Care Practice in England and in line with the NIHR SSCR’s Business Plan and the work and interests of KCL researchers as part of the NIHR SSCR.

The successful applicant will join King's College London's MPhil/PhD programme, subject to NIHR SSCR approval:

The student will work closely with Professor Jill Manthorpe and other colleagues in the NIHR Policy Research Unit in Health and Social Care Workforce which is a core member of NIHR SSCR. The candidate will be registered at King's College London's School of Population Health & Environmental Sciences who will also provide supervision and support. Please note that the science degree requirements as listed on the website do not necessarily apply. It is also only available on a full-time basis.

The 3-year award will cover full-time UK/EU King's College London tuition fees and an annual stipend of £17,009 from 1 October 2019.
