Instant SIM microscope installed at the NIC
We are pleased to announce that we have a new microscope at the Nikon Imaging Centre - the Visitech iSIM.
We are pleased to announce that we have a new microscope at the Nikon Imaging Centre - the Visitech iSIM. This is a microscope that produces enhanced resolution without the need for special fluorophores, and without computation, at capture rates up to 1000 frames per second. Deconvolution of the raw data enables a further enhancement of the resolution to around 2x that achievable with a wide-field microscope - around 130nm, a resolution level comparable with the N-SIM system.
