My first year at King’s Business School has been filled with cherished memories. I commenced in Autumn 2024, and although I was initially nervous about settling into a new environment as an international student from Nigeria's collectivist culture, I was warmly welcomed and supported by my supervisors, staff, and the entire KBS community, making the Strand campus feel like home.

I have enjoyed memorable moments such as the December 2024 Postgraduate Research (PGR) Christmas party, serving as a PGR representative at departmental and faculty meetings where I gained insights into academic leadership, and participating in the 2025 Doctoral Symposium, which prepared me for conference presentations. KBS fully sponsored my attendance at two conferences, and I was honoured to receive the Best PhD Paper Award at one. I am grateful for the support I have received at KBS and look forward to another fantastic year.
