The Quacquarelli Symonds Top Universities guide is an annual score of the world’s leading universities, ranking them at an institutional level and by a range of subjects.

In the 2024 rankings, King’s was placed 12^th in the world for the teaching and study of politics, an improvement on last year’s results (13^th) and significantly improved on the 2021 rankings, when the university was placed 17^th.

The School of Politics and Economics is home to many of King’s undergraduate and postgraduate politics and policy programmes.
