This exchange will allow students of German & Management to spend the compulsory year abroad at a world-leading centre for business management, widely regarded as the most prestigious business-oriented institution in Germany.

The partnership will begin in 2016-17, and will enable students to take modules from the university’s internationally renowned degree programme in Culture and Economy, which combines the study of German culture with courses in economics and business administration. Students of German & Management will have the opportunity to develop a wide and attractive range of skills – including proficiency in German, cultural competency, business acumen and a high level of analytical and critical thinking – and the opportunity to study in Mannheim will only enhance these further.

For more information about the partnership, please contact the German Department Study Abroad Tutor, Dr Catherine Smale at catherine.smale@kcl.ac.uk

(Aug 2022 - The Department of German now the Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures).
