New King's Business School publication on impact of mergers & collaborations in Higher Education

New publication: 'The impact of mergers, acquisitions & collaborations in Higher Ed & other knowledge based sectors', by King's Business School's Professor Ewan Ferlie and Dr Susan Trenholm, for The Leadership Foundation for Higher Education.

The review expands and builds on earlier work by Hefce (2012) on Collaborations, Alliances and Mergers (CAMs) by developing a typology of alternative organisational forms, illustrative vignettes demonstrating success and impact, and concludes with seven questions that will frame debate on what works in changing organisational forms. The aim is to generate learning across the sector. This review will be useful for governing bodies, senior leaders and experts in higher education governance.
