The Entrepreneurship Institute is delighted to announce the introduction of the David Walsh Scholarships for Entrepreneurship.

Scholarships totaling £30,000 will be available to students, staff and alumni on the King’s20 accelerator 2018 and will support the performance and potential of individuals and their team(s).

Scholarships will be awarded based on the entrepreneurial attributes and leadership skills demonstrated by the entrepreneurs at a pitch competition in Bush House on 10 May, with Scholarship founder David Walsh, CEO of KPMG Crimsonwing, Julie Devonshire OBE, Director of the Entrepreneurship Institute, and guest judges Justine Roberts, Founder and CEO of Mumsnet and Harry Hill, Founder of Countrywide and the launch of Rightmove.

King’s students, staff and alumni from all faculties are invited to attend the pitches and drinks reception on 10 May, 6pm. Register here.

I am delighted to offer this opportunity to King’s entrepreneurs. Even the best business ideas and their execution ultimately rely on excellent personal performance and great teamwork, and that is what this Scholarship recognises.

David Walsh, CEO of KPMG Crimsonwing

Personal development and the acquisition of entrepreneurial skills is a huge part of our focus in the Institute. A huge thank you to David for establishing this Scholarship and for his ongoing mentorship and support of our ventures.
