New Visiting Professors

New Visiting Professors join Faculty of Natural, Mathematical & Engineering Sciences

Four new Visiting Professors who are experts in technology and industry have been appointed to work with staff and students in the Faculty of Natural, Mathematical & Engineering Sciences:

  • Professor Gerhard Fettweiss, Vodafone Chair Professor and Head of the Institute of Communication Technology at the Technical University of Dresden (Germany)
  • Professor Kah Leong Koo, Senior Power Systems Engineer at National Grid (UK)
  • Professor Daniele Magazzeni, Research Director and Head of the Explainable AI Center of Excellence at J.P. Morgan AI Research (UK)
  • Professor Raúl C. Rosales, Senior Advisor for Orchard Global Asset Management LLP (OGAM), London (UK)

These appointments will further enhance work across disciplines to address society’s most pressing challenges such as innovative and sustainable infrastructures, technology, artificial intelligence and inclusivity.  Welcoming the new Visiting Professors the Vice Dean (Enterprise & Engagement) of the Faculty, Professor Luca Viganò, said:
