Jo Coombes and Jess Harris met three Dietetics students from the King’s College London School of Life Course & Population Sciences on 29.11.23 to discuss and advise on the development of their MSc coursework. Their focus was developing a nutrition intervention for people experiencing homelessness, which will be used by CentrePoint Charity. The feedback from the students was:

We really felt this helped our project become better through your experience in the area of homelessness. In particular, we want to thank Jo for being so honest about your experience dealing with homelessness and for being so helpful with your feedback through lived experience. We also want to thank Jess for collaborating with us! It really helped us get a broader and more appropriate understanding of our topic … we all thought it was very useful to collaborate across the different fields of dietetics and social care and would love to collaborate more in the future!
