Online marketplaces and proliferation: Project Alpha in the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists
An article written by Project Alpha’s Ian J. Stewart and Nick Gillard with King’s College London visiting professor Dr Jonathan Brewer is featured today by the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists.

The article – available here – discusses the problem of proliferation-sensitive goods being offered for sale via Internet-trading platforms like Alibaba.com and Ebay. It builds upon an earlier investigation by the Financial Times which revealed the extent of the compliance challenge facing online marketplaces with respect to WMD-relevant goods.
