Students from the Palliative Care MSc at the Cicely Saunders Institute have gone on to become world leaders in Palliative Medicine. These distinguished alumni include Professor Fliss Murtagh and Professor Claudia Bausewein.

Current students on the programme had the chance to meet alumni at this year's World Research Congress of the European Association for Palliative Care (EAPC) which was held in Berlin at the end of May. This was the students first EAPC, where they presented on a range of topics, including global health, mindfulness-based interventions and breathlessness in palliative care.
