I am honoured to have been included in the prestigious Forbes Hungary 30 Under 30 list. At AMKA we are dreaming of a world where mental health is a key organisational value. In the next year we are hoping to expand in the regions where we already operate, and start conducting research to further understand what works best to support wellbeing at work.

PhD student, Zsofia Szlamka, selected for the Forbes Hungary 30 Under 30 list
Zsofia Szlamka joins Hungary's most successful young visionaries who were featured on the 2022 list.
Zsofia Szlamka, Psychology PhD student at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience (IoPPN), has been selected for the Forbes Hungary’s 30 Under 30 list for her social enterprise, AMKA Counselling.
Forbes Hungary 30 Under 30 annually acknowledges some of Hungary's most successful entrepreneurs under the age of 30. Forbes Hungary is an international edition of American business magazine Forbes.
Based on evidence which shows that anxiety and depression remain leading causes of poor health at the workplace, Zsofia began to address the lack of awareness and services targeting mental health at work, particularly in regions like Eastern Europe and South America which have reduced access to employee assistance programmes that include psychoeducational training programmes or counselling support.
To bridge this service gap, Zsofia founded AMKA Counselling, a remote service which brings evidence-based and culturally adapted mental health services to the workplace. AMKA Counselling is now a community of highly qualified psychologists which offers support in a variety of languages and in all time zones.
Alongside her work at AMKA Counselling, Zsofia is currently completing her doctoral research on autism spectrum disorder at the IoPPN.
This year the Forbes Hungary 30 Under 30 list features 30 young entrepreneurs in a total of 20 categories. The final list is the result of thousands of international nominations and stamps of approval from expert judges, and those selected join a community of young entrepreneurs and game-changers.
