The Unit’s Nicole Steils gave an impulse presentation on findings from our study on self-neglect and hoarding behaviour among older people as part of an online workshop using the Community of Enquiry method. The workshop was organised and facilitated by Social Care Wales, and was attended by 25 practitioners working with people who show hoarding behaviour. The Community of Enquiry method is a collaborative approach, which encourages participants to share their experiences and perspectives in confidential rounds of discussion to raise important questions to improve professional practice.
