Professor elected a Fellow of the IEEE

Arumugam Nallanathan, Professor of Wireless Communications in the Department of Informatics at King’s College London, has been named a Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) in recognition of his contributions to cooperative communications and cognitive radio networks.

An IEEE Fellow is conferred upon a person with an outstanding record of achievement in any of the IEEE fields of interest. The total number selected in any one year cannot exceed 0.1% of the total voting membership. The IEEE Fellow is the highest grade of membership and is recognized by the technical community as a prestigious honour and an important career achievement.

Professor Nallanathan is delighted at being made a Fellow of the IEEE: “I am very honoured to receive this recognition for the quality and impact of the research work carried out by myself and my research group over the years. I have a very high regard for the IEEE and its contributions to engineering, so to be named as an IEEE Fellow is a significant personal achievement for me”.
