Professor John Tasioulas debates in The Times Literary Supplement

Professor John Tasioulas, Director of the Yeoh Tiong Lay Centre for Politics, Philosophy, and Law, participated in a debate with Professor Jonathan Wolff (Blavatnik School of Government, Oxford University) in the October 30th issue of The Times Literary Supplement.

The debate covered such topics as the value of democracy, the role of expertise in democratic decision-making, the justification of representative democracy, and the role of referendums in a democratic system, with special reference to the Brexit referendum.
