On Monday, the NIHR Health and Social Care Workforce Research Unit at King's hosted the latest meeting of the Social Work History Network. The Unit's long-standing association with this independent group involves providing venues and administrative support for Network events and assistance in the publication of the Network Bulletin.

This meeting was hybrid and involved Bob Hudson, Jill Manthorpe, Alisoun Milne and Bridget Penhale addressing the topic of social work with older people. Some twenty people were in the room, with a further 55 online. David N Jones, Chair of the Network, chaired the event.

Slides and a recording of the event are available.

The next Network meeting is slated for February 2024. Please get in touch if you would like to join the mailing list. Recent events from the Network.
