This is a rise of four places from the 2019 rankings and puts the School fourth amongst Law Schools in the UK.

The rankings are based on academic reputation, employer reputation and research impact, and are compiled using surveys of academics and employers as well as an analysis of research citations.

Our rise of four places reflects the ever-strengthening reputation of the School, built up over many years thanks to the effort from our staff. The ranking indicates our standing not only within the academic community but also amongst employers and influencers more broadly and thus demonstrates the strength of our teaching and our broader impact as well as our research. We are proud that we are viewed as firmly within the top echelon of Law Schools throughout the world and I congratulate everyone in the School for their hard work.

Gillian Douglas, Executive Dean of The Dickson Poon School of Law
