Mrs Josephine Crocker

Chairman of the King's College London Association (KCLA), and a member of King's College Council from 1998 - 2000; former student of King's (BSc, AKC 1956)


Professor Judith Dunn, FBA

MRC Research Professor at the Institute of Psychiatry since 1994 and one of the world's leading researchers on child development


Professor Thomas Lehner MD, FRCPath, FMedSci, FDS, BDS, MB BS, Hon. Doctorate (Stockholm)

Professor of Basic and Applied Immunology in the Guy's, King's & St Thomas' School of Medicine and formerly Head of the Department of Immunology at UMDS; his research has made outstanding contributions in the development of a vaccine against AIDS and he established the discipline of oral immunology nationally and internationally


The Rt Hon The Lord McColl of Dulwich, CBE

A Deputy Speaker of the House of Lords and Professor of Surgery since 1971 at Guy's Hospital Medical School, UMDS and until 1998 at Guy's, King's & St Thomas' School of Medicine and he has made an immense contribution to public service and his profession; former student of Guy's Hospital Medical School (MB BS 1957)


Mr Michael Morpurgo, MBE

Prize-winning children's author and founder of the Farms for City Children charity; former student of King's College London (BA, AKC 1967)


Professor Janet L Nelson, FBA

Professor of Medieval History at King's College London since 1993 and a leading historian of early medieval Europe and Anglo-Saxon England; Vice-President of the British Academy and President of the Royal Historical Society.


Professor Linda Newson, FBA

Professor of Geography at King's College London since 1994 and one of the most highly regarded historical geographers of her generation; Head of the School of Humanities from 1997 - 2000


Dr Malcolm Sims

Director of Research Support for King's College London, and as founder and Managing Director of KCL Enterprises since 1993, he has achieved

an outstanding record of success in commercial and research initiatives including the establishment of over 10 spin-out companies


The Very Revd Colin Slee

Dean of Southwark Cathedral since 1994, and former Chaplain and Tutor (1976 - 1982) and student (BD, AKC 1969) at King's College London


Professor Lewis Wolpert, CBE, FRS

Professor of Biology as Applied to Medicine in the Department of Anatomy and Developmental Biology at University College London; Chairman of the Committee for the Public Understanding of Science from 1994 - 1998; PhD, King's College London 1961 and member of the King's Department of Zoology from 1955 - 1966

Dr Mortimer Sackler, KBE

Chairman of Purdue Pharma and the Purdue Frederick Company; major international philanthropist and benefactor to the Sackler Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and the Sackler Institute of Pulmonary Pharmacology at King's College Londo
