Biography
Before coming to King's, I completed my doctoral research at the University of Oxford under the supervision of Professor Faisal Devji. I also worked as Junior Dean of St. Edmund Hall.
Research interests
- Anticolonialism
- The development of interwar 'global civil society'
- Anti-caste political thought, especially from the Dravidian Movement of Tamil Nadu
- Decolonisation
- Colonial Surveillance and Intelligence practices
Teaching
At King's I primarily teach political thought, both from the Western canon and from anticolonial India. I also teach skills-based and thematic papers.
