Biography

Dr Abimbola Famuyiwa is a Senior Technician (Operations) in the Department of Chemistry, King's College London. As a member of the technical team, Abimbola contributes to providing full technical support to research groups at Britannia House.

Prior to Joining King's, Dr Famuyiwa was a Teaching and Research Technician at the University of Reading, UK, Research Assistant at University of Lagos, Nigeria, lecturer at National Open University, Nigeria and international visiting scholar to Northumbria University, Newcastle UK. He holds a degree in Biochemistry, graduating with first class honours, MSc Environmental Chemistry from University of Lagos, Nigeria and later a PhD in Analytical Chemistry from University of Strathclyde, Glasgow UK.

He is a recipient of many research fellowships and travel grants, has published several articles in high impact factor journals and has presented his work at national and international conferences.
