Dr Abin Varghese is a Research Associate in the Department of Engineering, where he works with Professor Bipin Rajendran. He completed his joint-PhD from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, India and Monash University, Australia, where he worked on the electronic and optoelectronic properties of nanoscale devices. Specifically, he was involved in fabrication, characterization, and computational analysis of 2D materials-based heterostructure devices.

Abin obtained his master’s degree in physics from the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Thiruvananthapuram, India.
