Alex is a Postgraduate Research Student in the Department of Chemistry, King’s College London. He was awarded his MChem from the University of York in 2019, with a focus on chemistry education and alternative conceptions of chemistry in his final year research.

Alex joined King’s in 2021, working within the chemistry education research group with a focus on evaluative judgement in chemistry.  

Thesis title

Evaluative judgement in chemistry education - researching how students in chemistry understand what quality looks like in their work.
