
Biography
Alexander N. Kapustin is a Visiting Research Fellow at King’s College London whose work is centered on studying sepsis-related conditions. His studies on extracellular vesicle biogenesis and function have been published in high-impact journals including Circulation Research, Nature Cell Biology, and Arteriosclerosis, Thrombosis, and Vascular Biology (ATVB) (ORCID: 0000-0003-3552-830X).
His most recent research focused on optimizing the efficient and safe delivery of RNA therapeutics, including antisense oligonucleotides and lipid nanoparticle–based approaches. He is a co-inventor on a US patent for a vascular calcification assay and has led projects funded by the British Heart Foundation.
