Biography
Dr Amali Lokugamage MBChB, BSc, MSc (Epidemiology), MD, FRCOG, SFHEA, was a Consultant Obstetrician from 2005 to 2023 and a Consultant Gynaecologist from 2005 to today.
Her academic experience is in respectful maternity care, human rights in childbirth, global maternal health, decolonising maternity care and racism in maternity care.
She is an Honorary Associate Professor at the Institute for Women's Health at University College London.
