Biography
Amanda graduated from University College Dublin with a BA in French and Irish, an MA in French Literature and a Higher Diploma in Education (HDipEd). She has completed the Cambridge DELTA and holds an MA in Applied Linguistics & English Language Teaching from King’s College London.
Prior to joining King’s College London, Amanda taught at Newcastle University London and the University of Manchester. She also worked on a range of programmes in private language schools, both as English teacher and Course Manager. She has worked as an examiner for Cambridge Assessment for over 12 years and has previously been an IELTS examiner.
Amanda’s professional interests include materials design, language assessment and teacher development.
