Biography
Ana is a human rights activist, researcher, scholar, campaigner, advocate, evaluator, communicator, and writer with over six years of professional and volunteering experience. She has lived experience of navigating the UK’s asylum system. Her lived experience is one of her main motivations for campaigning and advocating in these areas. She has an extensive focus on the meaningful involvement of people with lived experience in campaigns and advocacy, co- production, organisational strategy, grassroots/community level organising, campaigning, and movement building.
Ana is a co-partner of A&M Consultancy which is a partnership of two consultants with lived experience of the UK asylum system.
Ana is a member of the Royal College of Psychiatry Working Group on Force Migration and Refugees.
Ana has an LLM (Master of Laws) in Human Rights (Distinction) awarded in the UK.
