Ana Georgian obtained her BSc. in Biochemistry with King's and GlaxoSmithKline in 2009. She went on to complete her PhD in Physiology at King's (2013) with Dr Jane Preston, Prof N. Joan Abbott and AstraZeneca UK, investigating drug transporter within the blood brain barrier. Ana stayed at King's, completing several post-docs and industrial partnership in the following years that examined drug transported to the brain, while also undertaking a Teaching Fellowship within the Pharmacology and Therapeutics. In 2019, she became the Senior Technical Officer for Prof. Ajay Shah's Group, and has supported her lab, department and school sever since. As of Oct 2023, Ana become a Research Staff Network Representative for Technical Staff (contracted & permanent), using her extensive expertise and experiences of King's towards supporting Technical Staff.
