Biography
After completing a PhD on diffusion MRI pulse sequences at NeuroSpin (Paris-Saclay University, France) under the direction of Dr Cyril Poupon and Dr Philippe Ciuciu, Dr Anais Artiges worked with Prof Riccardo Lattanzi and Dr Kai Tobias Block on a first post-doctoral project exploring a new vendor-agnostic approach of MRI pulse sequence development and leading to the creation of a user-friendly web-based graphical user interface serving that purpose.
She now works as a research associate with Prof Shaihan Malik on building the 'digital twin' of an ultra-low-field MRI scanner, collaborating with the research group of Prof Andrew Webb in Leiden. This project aims to optimize the machine built in Leiden for both image quality and power consumption, bringing ultra-low-field MRI technology one step closer to its routine use in a clinical setup.
