Biography

A social anthropologist by training, Andrea Cornwall works on questions of rights and justice in relation to gender, sexuality, participation, democracy and development.

Andrea works in three areas:

  1. Gender, sexualities and development
  2. Participation & democracy, with a particular interest in participatory methodologies and democratising institutions
  3. Rethinking development as reparations and repair.
