Dr. Andreia Carvalho N’Djai is a senior Higher Education executive with over 15 years of experience driving operational excellence and financial sustainability in complex, global institutions. As Director of Operations for the Florence Nightingale Faculty of Nursing, Midwifery & Palliative Care, she provides strategic leadership for a world-leading academic environment, co-leading faculty strategy alongside the Executive Dean.

Andreia has direct accountability for a £40M+ income portfolio and oversees a multi-functional professional services team of 80+ staff. Her expertise lies in institutional planning, large-scale organizational transformation—including post-merger integration—and robust financial stewardship.

Beyond her Faculty remit, she contributes to university-wide governance as a member of the University Investment Portfolio Sub-Committee, the Education, Students Functional Planning Group and the Service Futures Programme Board.
