Biography

Angeliki Evripidou is a PhD student in the Department of Forensic and Neurodevelopmental Science at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology, and Neuroscience at King's College London.

Angeliki Evripidou joined the Department of Forensic & Neurodevelopmental Sciences in October 2023 as a London Interdisciplinary Social Science Doctoral Training Partnership (LISS DTP) funded PhD student.

She holds an undergraduate degree in Law (LLB) from the University of Sheffield and a Master’s in Criminology with Distinction from the University of Manchester. Angeliki has three years of professional experience, including roles as a senior analyst at a What Works Centre for youth employment and as an impact research analyst at a youth work charity. Her work has consistently focused on addressing social inequalities affecting marginalised young people.

Her PhD project – Secondary school exclusion and alternative education provision: unravelling connections with mental health, offending and early mortality in adolescence and young adulthood – investigates the long-term outcomes of school exclusion using linked administrative datasets including CRIS-NPD, MoJ-DfE, and ECHILD.
