Biography
Anita Keller-Senn is an Advanced Practice Nurse specialised in diabetes care at the Endocrinology and Diabetology Department at the Cantonal Hospital in Winterthur, Switzerland. She qualified as a nurse in 1999 and holds a BSc and MSc in nursing. Since 2014 she is a part-time PhD student at the Florence Nightingale Faculty of Nursing, Midwifery & Palliative Care, King's College London, UK.
Research interests:
Anita's overall research interest lies in the field of self-management support in people with chronic conditions, especially in people with diabetes. Her areas of expertise are chronic care, diabetes care, patient and family education, complex interventions, and research ethics. Her doctoral studies focus on developing a better understanding of brief intervention opportunities to prevent severe hypoglycaemic events in people with diabetes.
