Dr Ann Lorek

Lecturer Child Health and Development

Biography

Dr Ann Lorek is a Consultant Paediatrician. She is part of the team teaching the International Child Rights and Development MA, and leads the Child Health and Development module at King’s College London.

She is a Designated Doctor for Safeguarding Children and Young People, and has worked as a general community paediatrician with children and families in southeast London for more than 20 years.

Research 

Dr Lorek's research work has included brain injury prevention, refugee child health, and safeguarding.

She does not currently accept PhD supervision requests. 

Teaching

Dr Lorek teaches on the International Child Rights and Development Child Health and Development modules.
