Anna Numa Hopkins

Biography

Anna is a Senior Research Fellow in Knowledge Mobilisation at the NIHR Applied Research Collaboration South London (ARC South London). Her role aims to develop and support a strategic programme of knowledge mobilisation for health and social care that addresses the priorities of people and communities in South London.

Anna brings broad experience of connecting knowledge and action through engagement, learning and research partnerships in different sectors and disciplines, most recently with NORRAG Global Education Centre. She has expertise in understanding and addressing the reproduction of systemic inequities at the intersections of research, practice, policy and civil society.

Anna’s research interests are in the politics of knowledge, in particular in relation to racialisation and racisms, collaborative research and public knowledge ecosystems. She is currently completing a PhD at the University of Warwick, and researches and campaigns on issues surrounding antiracism and migrant justice.
