Biography
Jasmin initially undertook BSc and MSc degrees in Biomedical Science at Lancaster University before joining the NHS in clinical trial setup. Following this, she spent 2 years in the biotechnology industry as a product development scientist. She joined the BBSRC LIDo doctoral training program in 2018 at KCL, in the group of Professor Maya Thanou. For her doctoral research, Jasmin focused on the development of nanomaterials for microwave imaging and hyperthermia, giving her cross-disciplinary experience from synthesis to pre-clinical translation. Following her PhD, Jasmin joined the group of Dr Graeme Stasiuk, specialising in preclinical translation of multi-modal imaging agents and biosynthesis of nanomaterials.
