Biography
As Senior Associate Director (Careers & Employability), Aranee has overall responsibility for the strategic and operational running of King's Careers & Employability, its institutional and international reputation, and its relationship with all stakeholders, including students, employers, alumni and donors, academic and professional services staff, and senior management.
She ensures the department delivers upon the recently approved strategic objectives, aligned to Strategy 2026 as well as contributing to the success of wider institutional objectives within the space of student success and as the lead advocate for employability within the institution.
She specialises in integrating employability into teaching & learning through high-impact pedagogical approaches and assessment methods to create inclusive curricula that enable all students to gain the knowledge, skills, and experiences to effectively navigate their lives after university.
A Senior Fellow of the HEA, Aranee sits on a range of committees and working groups within the sector to establish inclusive higher education structures, policies, and practice. Since July 2023, she has sat on the Board of AGCAS as Social Mobility, Widening Participation and Regional Inequality Director.
