Biography

Arved works on communications and marketing campaigns to raise awareness of the library’s resources, collections and facilities. He assists in the delivery of internal and external events, including tours, that promote Libraries & Collections.

He writes, edits, and publishes content across various channels, including the library website, our social media profiles, and by putting together printed marketing materials such as reports, policy documents, and posters. He also produces photo and video material.

Furthermore, he provides administrative support in the Business Operations team for the delivery of our strategic vision “Library Evolution 2026: The Open Library” regularly contributing his expertise to Objective, Working, and Task & Finish Groups.

Arved joined King’s College London in 2021, having previously worked in library reading list support at the University of Durham and the library cataloguing department of the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew.

Areas of Expertise

Ask him about library promotion, project management, putting on joint campaigns, and organising events. He can also aid in producing posters, photos, videos, and podcasts as well as with cross-promoting social media content.
